Chapter 42 Selling Items (Part 2)

After noticing the man was not the talkative type, Raydon began to remove all the crafting items he had won in his match from his dimensional storage. He took out all parts of two wolves, one crocodile, and eight moles, including their life cores. Even the sticks, vines, and one stone were removed and placed on the counter.

Belicia couldn\'t hide her surprise when she saw the materials he was pulling from his dimensional storage. She watched, however, and said nothing as she stood motionless on the sidelines.

Apparently unaffected by what he saw, the man said while taking a bored look at Raydon\'s loot. \'\'Despite not being professionally done, all dismantlings appear to be of good quality. Additionally, there are 8 earth-type life cores. They are widely used to make defensive items even though they are F-rank. \'\'

As the man examined them one by one, he took one of the sticks and said. \'\'Oh, this stick is from an E-rank mob. They can be used to make strong arrows. I can give 2 gold for each. \'\'

The man paused briefly, calculated, and then said. \'\'Earth-type life cores are 15 gold coins each, the others are 10 gold coins, for a total of 285 gold coins with all the other mob parts.\'\'

Raydon was a little disappointed with the price he heard, but he couldn\'t do anything about it. It also didn\'t appear that the man was taking advantage of him. Raydon agreed with a nod. \'\'Okay. \'\'

The man took a pouch from under the counter, arranged the gold coins on the counter, and handed it to Raydon.

\'\'Is there anything else? \'\' He inquired, watching Raydon grab handfuls of gold coins and toss them into his dimensional storage.

\'\'Actually, there is another one.\'\' Raydon displayed another green-colored but slightly larger and brighter life core after tossing the gold coins into his dimensional storage.

\'\'Oh? This is an E-rank plant-type life core. Impressive. \'\' He pretended to be surprised and chuckled sarcastically.

The fact that Raydon had an E-rank life core did not, of course, surprise the man. After all, Raydon came from a big family, and the man suspected he was an E-rank item holder, albeit a new one.

Belicia, on the other hand, had a completely different expression. She was aware that Raydon had only ever been to one match and that this was his first match—an F-rank match. The only meaning of this life core was that Raydon and his team had killed the incredibly powerful region boss.

On top of that, Raydon surprisingly obtained the boss\'s only life core.

\'What the hell did he do in his first match?!\' Belicia thought as she looked at Raydon, her eyes almost popping out.

\'\'This is commonly used to craft items with healing skills, and while it does not have as many receptors as earth-type, it is a little more valuable than water-type. I\'ll give you 120 gold for that. \'\' The man quickly made a calculation and told Raydon.

Raydon nodded without thinking too much. \'\'Okay. \'\'

He was well aware that what he possessed was not uncommon. He had to craft something if he wanted to use them, but he didn\'t know much about crafting. The best course of action was to sell them all and free up as much of his dimensional storage space as possible.

After all, he could collect a large number of items in his next match, which would be a major issue if he didn\'t have enough space in his dimensional storage.

Raydon mentally totaled up all the gold he had acquired up to that point and saw that he only had 533 gold.

\'This is undoubtedly insufficient for me to purchase another item. \' Raydon pondered and asked again while removing a few more items from his dimensional storage. \'\'How much would you pay for these? \'\'

This time, Raydon took out gray-grade magic equipment to sell. These included boots, trousers, a belt, and a jacket. Even if these items didn\'t have a skill, Raydon could wear them in his next match to avoid going naked, but his priority right now was to collect the gold required to purchase a useful item with a skill.

The man examined the items, nodded, and said. \'\'Of course, these are the most popular items on the market. I\'ve seen a lot of people who spent all of their gold to rebuild a strong skill set after losing all of their items when they died in a match, but they had to go around in the match in their underwear because they couldn\'t afford to buy anything to wear afterwards HAHAHAHA.\'\'

When recalling his memories, the man burst out laughing.

Raydon debated whether or not to sell these when he heard the man laughing mockingly, but he ultimately made the choice to do so. Raydon would undoubtedly prefer to have a set of useful skills over a set of useless clothes.

\'\'I\'ll give you 50 gold coins for every piece of trash magic equipment. \'\' The man said.

Raydon turned sour when he heard the price. The 200 gold coins he would receive for four items would be of little use to him.

He only sold the belt after giving up on selling the boots, jacket, and pants, and he was paid an additional 50 gold coins.

He then showed the man a robe and a one-handed glove. \'\'What about these? \'\'

\'\'Why don\'t you just show everything you want to sell at once so we don\'t have to waste time? \'\' Despite his sigh, the man picked up the items and began examining them.

\'\'I\'ll give you 1500 gold for the glove, which has a mediocre attack skill. \'\'

He took a breath, then carried on. \'\' The robe is excellent. It has a very strong enchantment skill, which is extremely uncommon. Whoever lost it must be feeling pretty sad right now, heh. Okay, I\'ll pay you 6500 gold for this.\'\'
